Black Tennis History Month

Each Year WPTA during Black History Month sponsors an exhibit on the History of African American tennis locally, within our Section and Nationally.

For the last five years WPTA’s exhibit has been held each Saturday during Black History month at the Scarborough East tennis club. The exhibit features numerous poster presentations of historic moments, places, events and person who have been relevant to the history of the game in the African American tennis community.
